The other evening i was playing a game in Attrition mode. I called in my Titan, hoping it would crush the enemy Titan nearby. Well, it missed, but when i was parkouring to get in it, i was using jump jets. i jumped into my Titan off a wall and was mashing buttons, and suddenly i was dropping from the sky, from what seemed about twice the height of my Titan, maybe more. I automatically hit all my weapons because i knew i was so close and facing the enemy titan. Automatically i looked down and fired from in the air. (Wish i had seen from outside what it looked like) I was shocked and saw in the chat bar somone say "flying titans?" so i knew it was not just me seeing things. I was using STIM and i think it was regenerating , and maybe as i jumped in it was ready and i hit stim and double-jumped or something. So it may be a bug, but I want to try it now...i have been distracted from that by all you people shooting my ass off, but i will keep trying to reproduce it. Does anyone know or have any ideas abut this? I am on PC by the way.
Welllllll.... I got one for ya.... On two occasions I've seen Titans "full-ablaze" (like the Human Torch no less!) and I mean flames all straight up and well over their head. AND NOT DOOMED!!! Definitely a glitch (and it looks like one, kinda animated, even for T-Fall). Your experience sounds pretty cool (wish I could'a seen it). Sadly, I fear that was an aberration as well (but here's hoping) Best to you, D. out!
Demeter had a collision glitch once which resulted in you being launched all around the map at speeds faster than eject+stim. They fixed it though. Yours is probably a one time glitch
I've seen the "Titan Torch" and have a clip of it... if I can find it. . I must admit, that was weird to say the least.
That's weird. Almost like that lag during gameplay that I have to deal with sometimes...only in reverse.
I've seen half cloaked titans before. All you could see was the weapon and the smoke/exhaust coming out of them.
Yea im going to try that out tonight and see if it truly is patched. If the guy on the video got it patched im gonna be ticked lol
i think it is fixed now , so don't be disappointed! Oh -- last night i witnessed a titan do a similar thing to what i did - it was not so very clear in the smoke and explosins, but he mounted the titan and then he jumped backwards and up, but he wound up against on a concrete post and a fence and was only the height of a titan (maybe because the post/fence stopped him). He did hit me from that elevation, but was attacked by several of our titans..i don't know his fate It may have been simply a backwards escape sprint that caused it instead of a jump/jets/sprint/every button reaction like mine.
