Yep, there was a kid in my lobby yesterday who was quickscoping with a Kraber and goddamn but wasn't he good at it. I rushed middle in Airbase, took the low tunnel on the side and he was up top across from me near the containers, this kid was just dominating, one shot insta-death. I peeked this kid with an assault rifle and dead. The other time we doomed our titans and ejected simultaneously I went to hit the trigger to shoot this kid and dead. Kid was a beast.

Do you have any idea how this and certain other feats are possible? Is it eye hand coordination, is it just lots of practice or is it just second nature cause he has been quick scoping since he was 3 years old? These gifted players trash my belief that I can do anything if I put my mind to it?

Haven't had the pleasure (or is it misfortune) of playing against a really good Sniper as you described. Thank goodness because my K/D has been taking enough hits lately.;) So did you finally get him Sarge? Showed him you were no slouch huh? Just out of curiosity, how are you with a sniper rifle. I hate it because like @A4eaTransformer said "These gifted players trash my belief that I can do anything if I put my mind to it?":(

Someone like this shows up more in Titanfall as there aren't many reasonable snipers (that I've seen) due to the game dynamic and speed. Kudos to the man that can!

If you can quickscope with a Kraber of all things then it's practice, there are basic tenants of QS but it's practice.
I didn't finally get him, I avoided him, not only was a great shot he moved incredibly well and used the map to his advantage really well, it's hard to fight against someone with a one shot rifle who can land shots consistently. Can I quickscope? Nah, never bothered to learn, it is somewhat of a black art and you don't make too many friends as a quickscoper ha! In relation to "gifted players" well...there is always going to be someone better than you, I mean, I play golf, so does Tiger Woods.

Agree with you Bruvas, the pull up on a Kraber is incredibly slow it makes no sense that he could do it so well, I couldn't believe it when I watched the killcam, the first shot he took on me it was mid animation on the ADS of the Kraber, it was almost a blackscope or noscope, my jaw just dropped. I couldn't even be mad at him I just sat there and said "good shot son".

I missed this Post like I do most of my shots.....

*That Kraber (insert long pause here)........Yes, kudos to the quickscoper lol......I had the fortune to handle a M82a1 .50 in 1991 (when I was ripe) at a range a couple times and let me tell you, at 30 lbs, you 'ain't' quick-scoping GDamt!

I've been had couple times by Kraber but yet see someone quickscope...but there's a ton of new players coming all the time.

My nephew does it on his Xbox with COD and battlefield online.....I walk in and he's got his headset on with his feet kicked up in the air running around murdering left and right with this 'lazy' look in his eye and peers at me half-smiled "hey Unc"......then grabs a bite of his sandwich "shouldn't you be concentrating?" I say....."Meh......" (GOOD HEAVENS! He's not even in the proper paranoid-sweaty upper lip-omg I hope I don't die-who's around the corner-late on his taxes-don't talk to me sitting position!)

younger generations are amazing with hand eye twitch motor skills.....but...(not all)....usually suffer in the tactics dept. I suppose that's the common evolution to the older gamer :p

I favor not being killed as my mental victory

I hear what you are saying and agree wholeheartedly but this guy used the map beautifully so he didn't die. He want 15+ and 0 on more than one occasion. It's rare, snipers generally stay stationary or work an area but this kid was moving well, he'd take three shots max and then he was a ghost. He lit up on the map naturally, but he moved so well I couldn't catch him. He was a natural born to it. He was awesome.

I hear you Sarge. He was handling his business out there like you said, then for sure you got to give him props.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I rage quite a bit, to myself of course, but with this kid, as much as I hated his guts, I had to just sit there and say..."good shot son".

As good as you say he is, I'd guess "good shot son" is all that could be said.
    Keep your head down.;)

I can never do well with a Kraber... I used an amped kraber once and I couldn't even get a hitmarker on a TITAN!!!
Props to him. I fought someone skilled with the kraber acouple weeks ago. Can be frustrating, but in the end you gotta realize how much skill is needed with that gun compared to other guns.

I saw this kid last night! He's a good shot and got the better of me on our first encounter, though once I was aware of him it became easy to outmanoeuvre and he didn't stand a chance particularly against multiple targets. Not sure it's something that's going to catch on.

Hey AIB, have not seen you a Around lately. Sorry to hear you came down with a case of Mr QuickScope. Good that you figured out the cure. I do not know if it was the same guy, but I ran into a pesky sniper last night too. Doubt it was him as he was taken out quite easily. Take care and hope to see you around again sometime...on the playing fields.

It's good for the game if quickscopers are around, it shows a certain investment in the game and is good for longevity. Doesn't mean however that we have to be happy when we are cross map melted by them.
