First, I respect Obi-DARK Kenobi (DARK BAWGS) very much and I am not singling you out here DARK and saying that either one of your posts was completely right or completely wrong. I'm also not saying you are a hypocrite either. I just believe that by showing your 2 threads, created 2 months apart, it shows the glaringly clearest picture of how Respawn is losing people, even those who have defended them to the hilt. Second, criticizing some things Respawn does, does not mean you don't like anything they do. If someone does something wrong, they deserve to be criticized for it no matter how great they've done in the past. Some of the Star Wars movies were great, but when you start throwing Ewoks, annoying young Annakin and Jar Jar Binks in there, then George Lucas deserves to be chastised for it. You don't get a free pass forever, but if no one calls you out on it, you're going to think everyone liked it and it's OK to keep doing goofy stuff. Third, I see some saying this community has changed and used to be more positive and fun. I've probably only been here since a little before the tech test of TF2 I believe, but if I had been here for TF1, I would have been mostly positive as well. TF1 was a beautiful masterpiece (and I know Respawn made it and I give them all the praise and thanks in the world for it). The Single Player Campaign was also extraordinary and I have done nothing but praise them for it. However, TF2 multiplayer was unnecessarily completely changed and is an entirely different game. Anyone who loved the first one has every right to be upset about that and let Respawn know it. It is also therapeutic to read that others are feeling the same things. I would hope that Respawn does some things that those of us who loved TF1 would be really happy about and then I'm sure we will be happy to get out the pom poms as well. However, I just want to make a point here, because frankly I've grown tired of the unjustified leniency Respawn gets. Respawn owns all of this: 1) For those members who don't like that there is negativity here, don't blame the other members, blame Respawn, because they own it. 2) When there were a lot of people who absolutely loved everything about the the first game and then you completely change it making all of the skills they spent 2 years and 7 months developing irrelevent, don't blame those people for being upset, because Respawn owns that. 3) When PC players supported TF1 and then were treated like red headed stepchildren (no tech test, no Vanguard edition until kicking and screaming, no Deluxe edition), Respawn owns that. 4) When cheaters are allowed to run rampant on the PC version and not a dime is spent to prevent it, Respawn owns that. 5) When this game was released in an unfavorable window, don't blame EA, because Respawn could have taken pride in their game and walked away (even if losing money in the short term), but salvaging your Titanfall brand name for the future, but they didn't, so Respawn owns that. 6) When this game looks like it was rushed out with really only 7 decent maps (Crash Site and Complex don't count), don't blame EA, because again Respawn could have taken pride in their game and walked away (even if losing money in the short term), but salvaging your Titanfall brand name for the future, but they didn't, so Respawn owns that. 7) When there is all this fanfare about how all DLC will be "free", but then in the first DLC you get 1 map stolen from TF1, a variety mode of that map and a cosmetic store, Respawn owns that. 8) When there is all this fanfare about how all DLC will be "free", but then in the second DLC it sounds like you are getting a new mode with mini maps that have no titans and a third map that is for a mode no one plays, Respawn owns that. yes, absolutely Respawn is responsible for creating an excelent single player campaign, 10/10 over the top quality, i applaud you for Bt and jack. But, the Multiplayer... in a multiplayer-focused game, at first it was ok, new titans, abilties, good graphics, it's fun, fluid, but it's not representative of TF! it feels like a free sample, i thught, "ok, there will be lots of dlcs, they can fixt it/add better thigns, maps, titans, depth, etc," now the second dlc is announced, "a game mode without titans an smaller maps".... what!? this is Titanfall not COD or Counter Strike! i don't like to complain, i was very happy with the game at the beginning, disappointment just makes me tired, and seriously, Respawn don't care about us, they just want to lure players from COD and that's it maybe Titanfall 3 won't have any titans... maybe i was wrong, maybe i should just bought TF1, and live in the past i don't know i played the pilots vs pilots mode and it's COD/Cs at its finest i can't imagine how disappointed are the veterans... Respawn you are loosing people fast, players who had faith in you and supported you from the very beginning, i suported you since TF2 was announced! i even bought the damn game twice!
Yes so much YES. Why is so bad to offer criticism. I just posted this on the EA forum. (No where near as elaborate). Don't get mad or blame players for not liking what respawn is putting out. I love the game even with its flaws but I can also criticize it when I feel it's justified. The Star Wars example was perfect.
they don't even say a word to this! they announced the new dlc as if was a piece of art! that millions of people all over the world are eagerly waiting... it's just two small maps and a game mode without titans, that's all! do the still feel important after this? hello come back to reality, and fix this asap they could at least write here or on twitter that they are reading feedback or opinions from players, anything! but no, total silence
I'd have to imagine Respawn is well aware of fan response to this DLC announcement. They probably have other things they want to share, but they may not be able to make it public yet until they are certain they can deliver in a given time frame.
let's hope so as this is not the direction in getting the community excited , let's hope only time will tell , only time will tell.
you know when i look and listen to these old videos to what is in and how the current game is it feels like a completely different direction. and it's because of this and the commitment of the community i still have Faith but not enough time .
No, they are not reading our feedback, they are reading the feedback of COD and CS players only English is not my language and i do not want to insult you or anyone here, but that is very naive of you, they have a storm in front of them! veterans and faithful players from the origin are leaving are disappointed!! if Respawn wants to solve anything they MUST announce anything GOOD right F now! the disappointment storm is upon them, they must save themselves now before it will be too late.... (am i exagerating? am i the only one who cares about this game anymore? i hope not )
I simply have to say that I am amazed all of you guys are still banging on about how much you dislike Respawn and Titanfall 2. It's impressive stuff. You must all be exhausted. Seriously.

I'm happy to play it. Do I think it's less than ideal in some respects? Yes. Do spend hours and hours recording my distaste on a largely anonymous website to others who share my distaste? No. Because it isn't that important. You have a choice not to be disappointed. You can make a choice not to play it. In the larger context, it's just a game, it's not life and death, no one died. Is it worth all of this unbridled dislike?
we are offering feedback i am aware of the choices that's why i wrote i'll wait two or three more dlc's but if they are fps garbage like this one, to make tf an idioiic fps, i'll uninstall it and won't buy tf3 a human can not choose not to be disappointed when a lot of mental, emotional and financial resources are invested.
what is it about titanfall 2 that impress you mate ? curious ? is it the servers with lag and player count, is it the matchmaking ,is it the unlocks , is it the maps , is it the camo's and nose art , is it the new DLC cratered to pilots mode with out titans , is it the limited info after 3 months and still have to wait for a road map , is it the lack of weapons for titans being that titans loadouts are locked in , is it the clustered maps and predictable about them , is it the reduced speed , is it the that after the uproar the titan timer was re-implemented , is it the emptiness and lack of AI in the game modes , is it the lack of that war zone feel you get when playing what has you impressed is it the red glow on the enemy . is it the color graphic in the game now ,

i know, but i wanted to play TITANfall not COD nor FPS nor CS, potential wasted, for what!? there are plenty of FPs out there! TF was unique, one of a kind, ruined it's sad
remember this is your choice, others come to the site for many reasons , to vent to read new comments , to see what's new , to chat with other members like yourself , to phrase the game , to give feed back , it may not be important to you per say but it may affect everyone differently , granted this is a hobby for many and compared to life experiences it is incomparable 2 different things , as i could say the same for some of my customers and people i have met in life as in gambling and casinos . its only money no one died , why would spend hours and hours playing a machine or game in a place they don't own with complete strangers do i do that NO because why it's not important to me , but it is to them .
