Okay the Desolation of Smaug came out yesterday for most the world. Has anyone gotten a chance to see it? I did, and I won't give any spoilers, but it was pretty amazing. Best movie I've seen in a while. It was a lot better than the first Hobbit movie, which I thought was great. It was funny, scary, and epic, all in one. I loved the LoTR movies, and this is a must see if you did too, actually it's a must see for everybody. I can't wait for There and Back Again next year
I hate to admit this but, I still haven't watched the first Hobbit movie. I'm a huge fan of Tolkien, and I'm worried at certain liberties Peter Jackson took with the Hobbit will anger me.
I love the books, but I also appreciate what Jackson has done with the movies, because I don't think it could get any better. I think the movies really help make it come to life, and they are absolutely beautiful.
