The Machine It was alright, very indie, very dark and slow-paced at the beginning. But I really like a good robot/human story where lines are blurred and in the end, we're all just hopeless, pathetic creatures in need of love.
whenever I see this movie mentioned, I feel obliged flame it. I wish I didn't watch it. I know, there were few connections to Silmarilion and LOTR, and they just didn't know how to fit an actual "Hobbit" story into this movie. But come on, even watching a fairytale (which "Hobbit" the book is not, and the movie maybe wants to be), I don't expect to be insulted... I didn't expect much but this movie was dumb beyond my imagination
I've heard its good, and while I still classify myself as a Christian, I question it everyday. And I really, really, really hate bible thumpers and those who promote (force) Christianity. So my question is this. Is it a Christianity promotional film? Edit: I don't want to get into a quarrel with anyone regarding religion and beliefs. So please, don't try to start something.
It's reeeeeally bad. It's unrealistic, accuses every non-Christian to be bigots and there's apparently only one Christian in the story who spends nearly two hours convincing his philosophy teacher that he's mad at God. I'm an atheist and movies like this one make me laugh. Out of all the recent films coming out this year this one caught my attention.
Lol, I guess its funny because those who thought of it as good were the bible thumpers or the "we're religious" people. I would only want to see it to laugh at it.
watched three movies this weekend which i should have a long ass time ago. The Wolverine (not bad actually) Thor The Dark World (Loki is a BOSS) and The Amazing Spider (sooo much better than the original)
At the cinema, Captain America Winter Solider - soooooooooooooooo good. At home, Despicable Me. Was on TV the other day and missed most of it, so whilst doing wedding table plan stuff =X I put it on in the background whilst we worked away, absolutely love animated films and Despicable Me is hilarious too. Got to love the minions XD still need to see Despicable Me 2 =O
Yeah it was awesome, one of the best Marvel films (love them all). Can't wait for the steelbook to join the collection =P
I only watched the first 15 minutes of that movie on my airplane ride. The last part I remember is 'Shoot her in the fuk*ing eyes for me' and them getting blasted in the head...
