As you've all seen the past few weeks, an increasing number of spam bots and spam accounts were created on this forum. Users were blasting spam messages, and our staff would react as quickly as possible to remove the messages & to permanently ban the accounts. Yesterday, I put even more measures into place to combat these attacks after doing a bit of research. They were rather extensive, but it was a great feeling to wake up this morning and see that no spam attacks had actually taken place. Is it possible that we'll still see some happen from time to time? Sure. Just realize that it's something that is continuously on my radar here, and I'm constantly working to make sure this is a fantastic place for Titanfall fans. Thank you all for your patience!
Hooray! Also as a side note, if anyone does see spam occurring or getting past the preventative methods we have in place, shoot one of us (@WhoIsDo, @KingOfGaems, @Laddie13, @Chaz) a PM or profile comment and we'll be able to see it, and then proceed to take action.
Depending on how this site is set up, it would go into a general queue and then either Mods and Admins could see it or just Admins. It all depends on how @WhoIsDo has set up the forums.
